Classes & Entry Fees
Competition classes are divided based on equipment to ensure a fair and equal competition.
Shooting groups will be assigned based on the number of participants.
Register NowBowhunter Class - $20 Entry Fee
- Front stabilizer assembly (including any and all disconnects, weights, dampers etc.) must not exceed 15”.
- No magnification permitted on scopes.
- Arrow shafts must be less than a 23 arrow (0.359”). 23 arrows are not permitted.
- Moveable sights are allowed.
Open Class - $20 Entry Fee
- No restrictions
Payback: 100%
Every dollar collected from entry fees is paid back to the winners.

Schedule
4:30pm - Practice Time
The range will be open for practice starting at 4:30pm on the day of the event. Practice is free to all registered participants.
5:30pm - Tournament Begins
At 5:30pm the tournament will commence with archers being assigned a lane based on class and registration numbers.
Post Event
Should time allow archers are able to continue to shoot in the range for no charge.
Rules
Equipment / Facilities / Code of Conduct
No bow racks will be provided; archers must use their own bow stand
Code of Conduct – all participants and spectators are expected to follow the Shrewd Outdoors Code of Conduct. Any person(s) found in violation of the Code of Conduct may receive warnings and/or be disqualified from the event. Discretion of enforcement is applied based on individual circumstances as brought to SO staff and judges.
Tournament Format
- Known yardage
- Tournament format will match ASA shooting rules.
- Rangefinders are permitted in all classes
- Shoot-off: The top 5 archers will participate in a 5 target shoot-off. Any archer withing 10 points of the leader will shoot an additional (6th) target
- 20 Delta McKenzie standard ASA targets
Scoring Rules
- 5, 8, 10, 12, and 14 points are in effect at all times
- 14's are in play
- The upper 12 ring must be called out to your shooting partner
Scores will be kept on a paper scorecard, arrow calls are made by the majority of the group.
- Scorecard must be carefully totaled and signed before being turned in as the final scorecard.
Group Management:
- Groups of two will be assigned to a stake upon registration/arrival.
- Each group of two shooters will proceed to their respective stakes on the range.
Shooting process
- Each archer will shoot two arrows at their respective target. The archer will then swap places with their partner and shoot another two arrows at said target. After both targets have been shot by both archers, arrows will be retrieved and each group will move to the right.
- Example: Group 1 starts on target stakes 1 & 2. Once each archer shoots a total of four arrows (two arrows per target) they will retrieve their arrows and move to target stakes 3 & 4 and proceed in the same way until they’ve shot at all 20 targets.
Capacity:
Each shoot is capped at 20 participants.
Safety:
- Safety guidelines will be reviewed by management prior to the tournament.
